Sizing & Fit
Every Velora piece is sized by exact measurement, never by S, M, or L. A size label tells you almost nothing about how a coat will actually sit on your shoulders. A chest measurement tells you everything.
Each product page lists the precise measurements for every size offered. For outerwear and trousers, that includes both circumference and length, since two coats with the same chest size can fit completely differently depending on how long they run.
Reading a Measurement
Chest and waist measurements are taken at the fullest point of the garment, laid flat. Length is measured from the base of the collar to the hem. These are garment measurements, not body measurements, so leave the room a piece is meant to be worn with — the fit note on each product page tells you whether that specific piece runs close, relaxed, or structured.
Between Sizes
If you're between two measurements, the construction notes on each product page describe how that specific piece is meant to fit. For anything more specific, write to us. Resident and Atelier Circle members correspond directly with a stylist for exactly this kind of question.
